- Calgary Activist Network:
Building and supporting communications infrastructure for individuals and groups working for progressive social change.
- Calgary Democracy:
Tools for people in Calgary to access information about politicians, political parties, and government.
- Dialogue City:
I co-host this audio podcast where we bring in folks for long-form dialogue on a wide range of topics.
- Revolutionary Knitting Circle:
A “loosely-knit” craftivist group, using craft-work in efforts for social change.

I served on the board from 2007-2017, with a couple years as Chair.
- City of Calgary eGovernment Strategy Advisory Committee.
I served for 2 years as a volunteer “citizen member” for the first term of this committee, where we worked on creating the City’s first “Digital Strategy”.
- Disability Action Hall.
I’ve been an intermittent participant and supporter since 2000.
- Green Party of Alberta.
I served as president of the previous incarnation of the party from 2004-2006.
- Men’s Action Network, Calgary; Feminist Men’s Auxiliary.
